Rather than attempt to rectify this, I justify my intimidation by claiming that science is somehow dangerous or immoral in extremely vague and non-specific ways. Since I am incapable of understanding scientific explanations, I disapprove when science explains something that had previously been mystical, as I can no longer spout nonsense about it without being contradicted.”
